The Environmental Bankers Association (EBA) will hold their 2018 Summer Conference in Minneapolis on June 10-13 and AKT Peerless is pleased to be contributing to key topics on the Association’s agenda.
Tony Anthony, Principal & Co-Founder of AKT Peerless, will be presenting on the topic of perfluorinated chemicals (otherwise known as PFAS) during the EBA’s Session 9 on Tuesday, June 12th at 8:45am. The Session is titled “PFAS – Emerging Contaminant Developments” and Tony will provide a deep dive into the myths and realities associated with this thunderstorm of new contaminants that has a fast-growing global scope. With significant knowledge of PFAS compounds and vast experience in hydrogeological fluid flow through porous media, Tony is an industry leader in this field and will share the latest information, analysis and insight about these emerging contaminants.
Timothy J. McGahey, Vice President of Environmental Due Diligence at AKT Peerless, will serve as the moderator for Session 5 on Monday, June 11th at 1:30pm, which is titled “Lender and Consultant Perspectives on Phase II Scope; How Much is Enough?” Tim will moderate a knowledgeable cast of panelists who will share their experiences in developing a proper, but efficient, Phase II scope of work. Tim has logged nearly 20 years helping clients navigate the complexities of environmental regulatory requirements while maintaining a cost-effective and practical approach to risk management, so he is well suited to serve as this panel’s moderator.
The EBA is a non-profit trade association that represents the financial services industry, including bank and non-bank financial institutions, insurers, asset management firms, and those who provide services to them, including environmental consulting firms such as AKT Peerless.
