Brian Eggers, Principal & Co-Founder of AKT Peerless, has been re-elected as Vice-Chair of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce representing District VI (the Southeastern district) of Michigan and will serve as a member of the Chamber’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Michigan Chamber set policy and establish priorities for the statewide business organization on key economic issues in Michigan.
Eggers has extensive business and civic experience and actively engages in policy and economic initiatives that positively affect prosperity, quality of life, and business success throughout Michigan. He is a past chair of the Chamber’s Environmental & Energy Policy Committee and was first elected to their Board of Directors in 2006. In addition to other board and civic roles, Eggers also serves as the Chairman of the Michigan Underground Storage Tank Authority Board and as Co-Chairman of the Michigan Water Use Advisory Council, both as the appointed representative of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and the business community.
