AKT Peerless Environmental & Energy Services was founded by environmental professionals committed to providing a broad range of high-quality environmental consulting, environmental management, and engineering services with the conviction that cost management, quality work product, responsiveness, and project finality are the primary concerns of our clients. AKT Peerless' founders recognized the need for quality consulting services that balance regulatory compliance with the business goals of their clients. We are proud to include among our staff, professional individuals accomplished in the disciplines of Chemical, Environmental, and Civil Engineering, as well as Land Use Planning, Financial Incentives, Geology, Hydrogeology, Geo-chemistry, and Biology. Many of the AKT Peerless' staff have achieved additional certifications in ISO 14000 and 9000 Auditing, Hazardous Waste Control, Hazardous Materials Management, and Environmental Property Assessment, among others.
In order to meet the needs of a rapidly changing market in the Midwest, the commercial and institutional team from the Chicago-based energy auditing company Informed Energy Decisions joined Michigan-based AKT Peerless Environmental Services in the spring of 2009. Informed Energy Decisions had a well-established reputation as one of Illinois' leading consulting firms in the field of building energy diagnostics, residential green building and green building retrofits.
Cappy Kidd to Present on Energy Audits at the Environmental Bankers Association Meeting in Chicago
On Tuesday June 29, Earl “Cappy” Kidd, Director of Chicago Operations of AKT Peerless Environmental & Energy Services, will be one of the featured speakers at the Environmental Bankers Association semi-annual meeting. The meeting will be held from June 28 to June 30, 2009 in Chicago, Illinois at the Allerton Hotel. Cappy’s presentation will be in the Sustainability portion of the program and he will speak on “The Value of Energy Audits as a Diagnostic Tool.” Cappy has decades of experience in energy auditing and energy efficiency upgrades. This promises to be an outstanding presentation. Several other notable speakers are presenting at the Environmental Bankers Association meeting.
